GBNot an expensive room so not expecting loads but…room was grotty, sheets had seen much better days at the bed was basically broken..could go..

Tea facilities had no mugs and no teabags. We were in a rush to an event when we checked in so didn't see until we returned late that night. Carpet was grubby.

I was unable to access the outer property after attending an evening function. The wrong keys had been provided. Despite knocking on the door numerous times, there was no answer. I tried calling the phone number provided, but no answer. I had to try and find another hotel and ended up walking over 5 miles as no trains or taxis were available. Also, being after midnight alternative hotels were unable to take bookings at such short notice. I finally got to access the hotel at 7:30 in the morning and one of the staff promised a refund. I am still waiting for a full refund.
