Convenient location

We booked all 4 rooms for 2 nights for colleagues and partners well in advance. We stayed one night and found accommodation elsewhere the second night. Some examples of the experience: Kettle in room but no mugs or tea bags. Mouldy bathroom. Bedside lamps no bulbs. Waited 30 minutes for a towel. Clutter and mess in the corridors. Stairwells used as storage for the pub. No shampoo or soap in the shower. Dirty carpets. Mop left in toilet. Smoke alarm low battery warning beeping all night.

I didn’t like anything there

The property wasn’t clean and they lack customer care

It’s really close to Reigate station and easy walking distance to Co-op and restaurants in town. They kindly allowed me to keep my bike in the room.

There was a private party happening downstairs and it was not clear where to check in/who to talk to; I kept calling on the number given but no answer. The room was basic, musty and fairly grim to be honest. The bedding is clean but old, the pillows were damp, random things stored on top of the wardrobes and there was clutter & mess all the way up the staircase (cleaning products, children’s toys, etc). I was there for one night and basically needed somewhere to sleep ~ it was adequate for what I needed but I wouldn’t return or recommend

The location was ok.

The staircase leading to the room was full of junk, dirty, smelly. All three flights were full with stuff that did not belong there. The place should be checked. The room looked more than tired. The place was a complete embarrassment and not fit for purpose. The friends I booked the room for had to barricade the door at night as it was not even possible to lock the door.

dirty room and toilet. I needed to clean the loo, old urine and hair on the toilet & rim, it was filthy. Dusty and unclean Bed had a dip/ old mattress and pillows kept falling down the back. Only tea in the room. Very tired and scruffy. Mess in the hallway and stair areas. Things on top of the wardrobe in room Lacked basic care and thought for guest experience

The staff

The room was filthy... the bathroom had clearly had not been cleaned since the previous guests.. I would say more than one previous guest. There was pink mold in the shower the toilet had recently been used by someone and not cleaned. The taps filthy. The room itself was filthy, the tv propped up by a book, don't know if it worked didn't bother to check. Had to use the book to hold the window open as it wouldn't stay open on its own. There is little choice for accommodation in Reigate, and yes, this was one of the cheaper options but no excuse to be filthy. It really just needs a good bleach and clean, and it would be acceptable.
