Ocean Club Resort

The resort is quiet, well kept and right on Grace Bay. Everything we were looking for. The staff was so polite, friendly, and helpful. Look forward to returning!

This was our second time to Turks, our first time staying at Ocean Club East. My husband and I stayed in a beachfront two bedroom condo. The grounds were gorgeous and well kept. Beautifully updated, very clean, well stocked kitchen, and plenty of room. The best part was the stunning view of Grace Bay Beach and the ocean. The water is a gorgeous turquoise color and the sunsets are some of the best we’ve seen. Finally, the service was terrific. Hats off to the manager, Keisha, who we met the evening we arrived. She was very welcoming, and helped us with an issue in the condo. And special thanks to Nina, our housekeeper. She was wonderful. We’ll definitely be back to OCE and can’t wait for our next trip!

We had another great stay at ocean club east.The weather was a little tricky this year.Very windy but still in the 70's. There was a storm when we got there that washed out the beach but luckily receded .We have been coming here for 12-13 years and have never had this kind of weather. However we had great stay.We love the staff and the cabana bistro and opus restaurant. Our 2 bedroom condo was totally renovated and was really nice. we plan on returning next year as usual and hope the weather gods are with us.

this is our third trip to turks and we have stayed at the ocean club east every time. rooms are spacious and clean. beach is clean and very accessible excellent restaurants close by. easy shuttle ride to ocean club west to walk the grace bay shopping areas. Grocery store easily accessible Restaurant at the ocean club is excellent. we will return again next year for another stay

Overall, physical attributes of this property were fine. The resort is clean, although dated. The rooms are updated partially but the pools/grounds are dated. We had safety issues. The WiFi/ Ethernet/phone didn’t operate for part of the trip causing a major safety concern as we had no way to contact emergency services or the front desk. It took almost 2 days from it being brought to the front desks attention to have it remedied. I had to email and talk to them no less than 3x each day requesting an update. Also, do not be fooled that you are able to use the other property. This is advertised as being a sister resort to West. We wanted a change of scenery and took the family to west to swim/hang out there. We were denied towels and chairs because we weren’t “guests” even though we were staying at east. It’s nice to have the shuttle to get closer to town. We had 2 small children with us who were super disappointed when we tried to use the sister facilities one day. We were treated as if we were second class citizens and had no business being at that resort. I get its island time, but service was slow. I’ve traveled a lot through the Caribbean and everyone has been friendly. Not a single person tried to get to know you as an individual and you felt as if you were a burden to them. This goes for all staff working the restaurant. There was one server on the beach who was fabulous. Overall, really disappointed in the trip- we spent A LOT to stay here with the hopes of being able to use both resorts and that was a lie. The fact that safety issues were not considered or dealt with in a timely manner also should make you pause as you think about booking this resort.

A beautiful well maintained resort with everything you need. A gorgeous beachfront area with cute pink umbrellas, a beachfront bar (Cabana bar) and restaurant with amazing views, two pools, complimentary paddleboards, kayaks, floats, a free shuttle to ocean club west in town, and attentive staff available for any questions or requests you may have. One of our favorite family vacations!

From the time we checked in to the time we checked out the staff was exceptional. Great service, updated villa, great location, highly recommended. The have a great friendly staff, beautifully located on Grace Bay beach, great facilities with tennis, pickle ball, bikes, restuarant/bar and great service from the front desk to the staff working at the beach.

Great beach. Great bar and restaurant at the beach. I came here as part of a scuba diving package. Although the property has a spa, it is a no frills establishment connected the hotel fitness club. I would not choose the Ocean Club East property over the West because of the spa, but if you are already staying at the East property, it is nice to have. The masseuse was very effective and friendly. The West property is closer to town, with the nightlife, and I am sure the Ritz Carlton nearby has a spa, although likely pricier. The hotel staff at Ocean Club East were perfectly friendly and helpful, until the very end, when I encountered porter/bell boy who was a total jerk. He was telling a taxi driver not to take me, even though the taxi arrived to take me to the airport--it simply arrived earlier than expected. The porter needed to speak with the receptionist at the front desk because it was the receptionist who called the taxi for me.

Perfect stay everytime , from the servers to the bar staff to the maintenance guys. Zero issues. Had a blast. See you soon!

We happily enjoyed our week long stay ~ using a quieter pool in the mornings , beachside in the afternoon. The cabana restaurant serves delicious food and we split entrees easily to manage costs( expensive) and enjoy it all. Our absolute only improvement would be that chairs are hard to find since guests tend to throw towels out early and leave them there despite the two hour ‘policy’ which is hard to enforce. But we do need the umbrellas so that was a bit of a scramble. Service was excellent. Location is lovely ~ shuttle is good but would be nicer if it went one more stop into town more or occasionally. Enjoyed our week and hope to go back.
