Canto del Sol Puerto Vallarta All Inclusive

This is the second time I’ve been to Canto Del Sol. It has been the most relaxing vacation w family. We love that it’s right on the beach. Our room has a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. The staff are seriously the BEST! So welcoming and warm and helpful, always cheerful, you can tell they enjoy their jobs. Sitting poolside is always fun. Top notch service from Juan at the bar and Miguel in the buffet restaurant and Marco at the pool.

Location, the beach was clean all of the time

Great experience, fantastic food

Over all this hotel is great Staff are amazing, food at a la Carte is very good. Buffet food is decent. We book in the main building and got an ocean view room which was very nice Lots of alcohol and non alcoholic options Easy to venture off resort to see live bands, buy groceries etc Only down falls are It’s not adult only and it was extremely busy with children the second week so if that’s a deal breaker don’t go! There is no 24 hour snack bar or bar. But buffet is open till 10:30 pm Entertainment at night is not that great. It’s a hit or miss Almost impossible to find something on the beach to suntan, as it has a steep drop and only a few loungers. But there are 3 pools. Would we go back ? High possibility just because of the caring staff. But would pick times when it’s not spring break for Canadians or locals. If the hotel could designate a pool area for adults only like many other hotels do that would really help. But the value for the price was pretty good.

Hotel location is pretty close to marina, airport, downtown. Rooms are clean with good connections to the beach, pools and main amenities. Great breakfast. A-la-carte restoranes provide great choices of delicious food, especially Italian and Mexican. There are some activities during the day and some shows in the evening. There is a great kids pool on territory.

Hotel has small territory, not enough of sunbeds near main pool. . Some evenings dinner was really bad it was not enough food, no choice, no space in the main restaurant. Rooms are pretty old. The beach is not maintained - "red flag" hangs all the time. Sunbeds on the beach are old and lot of them are broken. A-la-carte restaurant Mar and Tierra not worth of your time. No coffee during the day - neither in the bar no on territory - only in the main restaurant.

Sushi was excellent as was the tempura, the Mahi Mahi was overcooked and sent back, service was excellent!
