We had zero hot water . In the evening before dinner … ice cold . They said if a lot of people shower it could take awhile . Well it didn’t even warm up for an entire hour so I just had to take an ice cold show to make dinner reservations. Next morning … same thing ice cold . Went to breakfast (in the hotel and it was FABULOUS ) and came back still NO hot water . Went to the pool . Came back to shower before leaving for the airport and guess what ? Ice cold water . All the front desk did was apologize . I feel like they should advertise “hot water optional “ or give a schedule of when there actually is warm water . For the price a very MID experience .

Amazing resort. Unforgettable experience. Loved staying here and highly recommend. Kid friendly although i love this resort as more of an adult only getaway simply because of the adventuring and food options.

Bishop's Lodge is special. Returning guests. We had a wonderful time. This was a multi generational trip to celebrate three milestone birthdays. The location, the views, the weather, the ambiance, the staff, the amenities, the food, the pool, and more..... was just perfect for us. What a pleasure to be in Santa Fe and to stay at Bishop's Lodge. We loved our room and felt so comfortable, welcomed and cared for.... Perfect!! Thank you.

Beautiful albeit pricey property with friendly staff. Disappointed that redone rooms didn’t have hot water two days in a row which ruined the experience. For $1300 a night I expected better.

While the physical property has been redesigned, renewed, and refreshed many times since we first started visiting the Bishop Lodge many years ago, one always still feels the same warm western welcome that one is looking for in a luxurious setting.

Not a five star resort. If you've stayed at other resorts - Rosewood, Four Seasons, Fairmont, even Auberge - do not expect the same level of service. The property is beautiful, but awkwardly laid out and noisy most of the day with gas powered carts and gardening tools, voices, and road noise creeping in. The service was the lowlight of our trip. The resort seems extremely understaffed with most staff members friendly and trying hard, but there just isn't a 5 star service vibe.

My wife and I celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary at this incredible resort, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From beginning to end, everything was thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed. Steve assisted us during both our arrival and departure, and he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He is a true asset to the resort and a credit to the team. Our fly fishing instructor, Wade, was equally outstanding—warm, patient, and an excellent teacher who made the experience both enjoyable and informative. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Santa Fe Opera tailgate experience provided by the resort. The picnic was delicious and elegantly presented. Overall, this was a truly memorable stay. The staff, the experiences, and the stunning setting exceeded all of our expectations. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
