Barrydale Accommodation, Backpackers

The location and view was great. It's located on the main road - easy access to restaurants and shops etc. The shower is spacious and the water was nice and warm. Free coffee, sugar and milk was appreciated.

Lacking is an extra warm blanket, a heater and/or air-conditioner - it was extremely cold in the room especially at night with snow on the surrounding mountains. Pillows are a bit worn. I paid for the room for the full weekend but made alternate arrangements for accommodation on the Saturday evening as they hosted a party at the Restaurant and the music was way too loud with a huge speaker in front of our room.

Atmosphere was laid back and friendly, staff very friendly and accommodating. The road it is on is walking distance to other shops and restaurants.

Could have a fridge and microwave. Maybe some plates and utensils. More seating space in room.

The hospitality were really great.

Mosquitoes, noisy floor boards of the upstairs bedroom which kept me awake the whole night. You can hear the people upstairs snoring, talking on their phone, stomping on the floor.. they need to soundproof the floor
