I recently stayed at the Renaissance Arts while attending a conference at the New Orleans Convention Center. Although pricey, valet was very easy and efficient; both arriving and departing. The hotel does not offer a true lounge, but does have a small elite member VIP area with complimentary water, soda, coffee, and snacks. Only had drinks at onsite restaurant, but bar service was good. Many places to eat/drink nearby. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Did not need housekeeping services, but you could indicate the need by turning on a switch next to the door. Would stay at this hotel again if attending a conference, as the NOCC was only a few blocks away.

The staff at this property are big on customer service. The hotel is clean, my room smelled so good upon entry and the New Orleans flavored chips were an added benefit. The hotel is surrounded by art, food and bars. I would definitely stay at the Renaissance again.

"Clean, comfortable and near the cruise port"

We have stayed here twice so really enjoyed this property. Nice on site restaurant that we’ve enjoyed breakfast and lunch. We can walk to the cruise terminal from the hotel , but more importantly a convenient place to stay in New Orleans.
