Villa Santi Hotel

Front desk is efficient and helped to arrange sightseeing and onward transfer to next destination.

The hotel is in a good location but that's about all it has going for it. The hotel needs an overhaul, it's very old and tired looking. There are marks on all the walls and it is generally falling apart. The front desk staff were terrible, they were far more interested in their phone than the person standing in front of them. They gave no help in explaining what was in the area and on the two occasions that I asked directions to well known places (within walking distance) they were unable to help in any way, they just said "don't know". The staff during breakfast and the house keeping staff were very friendly, which made a nice change. For the money I think you could find better.

So glad we booked here! The location was beyond perfect, right in the center of things but still quiet at night. We fell in love with Luang Prabang in part because we were right in the heart of it. The bathtub and breafast were great too. Heartily recommended!

This hotel was in a great location! You are on the Main Street which has tons of great restaurants, shops and the night market is a ten minute walk down the road. The room could use a little sprucing up and the bathroom a deep cleaning (bathroom had cobwebs in corners) but other than that the room was spacious. The bed was a little hard though. Breakfast was good. My husband couldn't sleep one night because of all the cats roaming the neighborhood making lots of noise.

Traditional colonial buildings and furniture. Very obliging staff. Good location. Most enjoyable stay.

The Santi resort we were taken to was very nice in landscaped grounds. We understand that it is fairly common for the Villa Santi to be full and guests taken to this sister property. There were few individual tourists there. It was mainly groups. The big problem is the distance from the town - 10 mins by taxi. There is a shuttle bus at infrequent times and invariably you end up with the extra cost of a taxi at least one way. First time we have experienced this with hotels.com.

I would stay again if I had that chance.

The room and grounds were great but the staff was not overly friendly. The food was OK but not as good as in some of the surrounding restaurants. The hotel is very centrally located and the building and the grounds are quite charming.

This hotel is a delight. It has great charm and character. The staff is excellent as is the location. It's a wonderful town and this hotel contributes to it.

Hotel was great , excellent location , annexe location of hotel is adjacent to school a little noisy in the morning. hotel offers free use of resort facilities , worth a visit beautiful location with large swimming pool. Breakfast very good at hotel. deums at 4am are close by but you would hear them anywhere you were staying
