"A gem in a perfect location."

I love this kind of an old era hotels. I think they have character. Very friendly staff. Great Bfast buffet.

" Quaint town"

Great location; friendly/helpful staff. Run-down room (broken bathtub drain, loose/wobbly bathroom sink). Bugs in the bed. Uncomfortable bed. Excellent airport transportation. Slippery outside tile (I fell flat on my face during a rain storm).

"DISSAPOINTED FROM NORTH EAST LONDON"

Nice hotel but pictures of swimming pool very misleading....the picture I think was of the Santi Resort not the Villa and I booked because of the pool! A couple blocks away from the centre...the room was comfortable but not worth the money...the bathroom was a major disappointment. The shower was awful.The aircon was noisy..lastly the bar served a hideous Singapore Sling and said it was a different recipe....yeah a recipe for disaster...No I would not recommend it or stay there again.

"Old French colonial hotel, typical of LP"

We only stayed 1 night but staff were eager to please & good, quit location. It is opposit a monastery so there is early am & pm chanting & music which we thought was wonderful. Charming & typical

" Central Hotel"

This hotel was rather ancient, but all the essentials were there. We were not in the main hotel building and had to walk out the back, cross the road and then climb around twenty steep stairs to arrive at our room. Fortunately one of the hotel staff carried our large bags. We are in our 70's so I doubt we could have carried those cases up the stairs. It was very convenient,though.

Lovely ambience. Friendly efficient staff quaint restaurant with pretty decor and good food. Only negative mildew odor. However, it is very clean. Overall, love the location
