Marina Beach House

The location was fantastic - overlooking the beach and sea was just beautiful and everything I hoped it would be. Comfortable lounge and dining area, great main bedroom with storage and of course that view. Great to have a toilet downstairs to save climbing the stairs and I liked the shoe storage by the door. Perhaps consider a thicker curtain at the front door as you can see people walking back and forth. Ample saucepans and frying pans as well as cupboard space in the kitchen to store things.

Zero storage in the single room not even hooks over the door to hang anything. Not one shelf to stand a few bits. you have to live out of a bag. Stairs from ground to 1st very steep and carpet coming away from a very narrow stair making the climb a little treacherous. Toiletries were supposed to be provided but there wasn't any shower gel, just 2x shampoo and a hand soap. We'd brought our own anyway but if you say you're going to provide something, you should. TV was a bit temperamental with BBC iPlayer and iTVX dropping - perhaps a signal issue. Lastly, the heating. The electronic manual for the apartment states that the temperature is kept at 20c but that it can be adjusted. However, when we tried to turn it up when the nights gotva but colder, despite the temperature on the nest showing a higher temperature, the rads were barely warm. A message in the nest display said it had been disconnected from the internet. Not sure if related but with the weather now getting colder, this will need to be resolved. Finally, some of the glasses and cutlery were dirty. I would have hoped the cleaners would have checked all of that before thex ext guests arrive as not pleasant when going to use something to find it like that. The fridge is tiny and doesn't work very well, particularly the salad bin - bought a cucumber and some salad bits but they'd gone off within 4 days.

Terrific location for beach access and a quieter stay. The stairs are quite steep and short in depth. Just something to be aware of if traveling with kids, elderly, or anyone with mobility challenges. The updates to this home are great. Very very clean and everything you would need. The living room/tv area is nice and roomy. Toilet on the ground floor is awesome as you don’t have to attempt stairs. Perfect place for a beach getaway.

The bed that looks out on the water could use an upgrade. We felt like we were sleeping in a channel or trough. Bring your own paper towels, none on site. Plenty of hand towels in each bathroom and kitchen.

A lovely property right on the beach and a perfect Norfolk get-a-way! Clean with a lovely balcony, we really enjoyed our stay here.

What a wonderful find! We wanted a 36/48 hour stay to walk our dog on the beach. This gorgeous property was perfect! Situated directly on the beach it was literally exactly what we were looking for. The house itself was lovely, comfortably furnished and decorated and stocked with everything we needed for us and our dog. The house was also very clean.
