"Hotel Torremayor - upscale shopping district"

We were pleasantly surprised to receive an upgraded room to the Superior suite. After having searched the discount hotel sites, Hotels.com didn't disappoint. We had helpful service from the reception staff, a welcome drink, free internet and cabs arranged. Only problem was in the transfer to the airport - the price was miscommunicated, and the cab driver was mad.

"Great place to stay."

We were upgraded to a superior room at no extra charge. The room was large, clean, and the sheets felt great. We were within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. We appreciated the free parking. The front desk staff were bilingual.

Very good hotel overall, good deal for the online price I paid, I would have been less happy with their advertised rates. Just a couple of blocks from shopping and restaurants. Under ground parking. Free drink. Chocolates in room Pool was a bit on the cool side (we were there in the summer). In a fairly nice and well populated neighborhood.

Wonderful location. Lots of small outdoor cafes to drink your favorite Chilean wine, great shopping, safe area, people friendly. Close to bus stops. Staff at hotel very helpful. When we return to visit Santiago we will definitely stay at Torremayor Hotel.

An excellent hotel, friendly staff and well situated to restaurants, cafes and public transport. Was pleasantly surprised and felt is should have rated more stars. Would highly recommend the Torremayor if staying in Santiago.
