The Ridges Resort on Lake Chatuge

We loved the look but the guy at the FD when we checked in seemed to wish he worked somewhere else. Then we got a bucket of ice which looked like either machine was dirty or water was, or both.. Room was spotless, and rest of area was beautiful..would stay again..

No trashcan in the bathroom. And you charged me $170 when they only got 123 and that’s on top of the credit that I had in Expedia for 35 room was supposed to be $102.

The area is nice. The hotel looks like it is doing some updates and it is needed. The outside areas are in need of repair (gazebos, roofs)

I have had the privilege to visit this resort twice now. I love the atmosphere. The only thing I would change is that the beds aren’t super comfy but I also have back issues so they may be just fine to others that don’t struggle with back issues.

We’ve traveled around the state of GA many times from FL and we’ve stayed here three times now. Our first time we fell in love with it all. This time the only worth while is the restaurant. From front desk not being the friendly welcoming as it was to remodeling and floors not once vacuumed in four nights we were there. Our room was so worn and not even close to a resort experience. I got the feeling it changed hands and it’s not what it was. We for one, will be looking elsewhere next time we are in the area but definitely will make it to The Oak Lake Kitchen.

The property is beautiful and staff were very friendly and accommodating.

We chose this property while we were visiting Helen, Ga. This was a great choice, the property sells itself. Nice fire pits on cool nights. The hotel offers free s’mores to the guest. Good times for family and friends.

We stayed at the Ridges Resort for Christmas while visiting family. The Pros: The resort's main area had floor to ceiling windows, overlooking a beautiful lake, a lovely Christmas tree and a warm fireplace. Definitley felt warm and cozy for the holidays. The rooms were clean. The cons: The resort was a bit on the outdated side. it took 10-15 minutes for the hot water to kick-in once the shower or sink was turned on. Overall a good stay. Very quiet without a lot of activity.
