Honestly I don't know what makes this place a resort, for me it's just a hotel. There's nothing to do, if I got bored, imagine my 2 year old son. The place needs renovation, the carpet is dirty and looks old, the room was dirty, especially the bathroom, and judging by the smell of the bed linens, they didn't seem to be clean. The view for the lake is nice, but based on everything else it's not worth the price. Disappointed, I definitely wouldn't go back.

The property is beautiful but is falling apart and is not worth it the charge 25 resort fee but there are no amenities (news paper n coffee are not worth 25 dollar a day ) I had a 6 days stay no housekeeping I was told my room will be service on the 3rd day I never happen I clean the room myself got my own towel from the front seat etc . On my 5th day the housekeeper walk in to my room without knocking or saying anything I was coming out of the shower There construction material all over the property not safety secure which is a hazard n plain irresponsibility The new removeted room are full of dirty dusk and is impossible to breath in there All the lights in the outside area by the lake broken is completely dark out there safety hazard To firewood going the wood In general a mess not worth the money

I enjoyed my stay. The facilit was clean and the grounds were beautiful. We did not leave all day because it was so nice to walk around. However, the resort charges $25 per person for a resort fee. We were told this covered the nightly smores and firepits. Unfortunately, the two nights we stayed the firepits were not ignited. I chose the resort because of the firepits and the beautiful landscape. I was so looking forward to sitting by the firepit. We were told by two front desk staff that they would be lit from 8pm tob10pm. My fiance felt so bad for me he wanted to lite the fire himself. Please don't disappoint another guest. I traveled great distance for this experience and was definitely misled. Other wise, i say give them a try!

Absolutely gorgeous resort and very friendly staff. The restaurant the Oaks was one of the nicest anns delicious restaurants we’ve ever been to!

Check in was horrible. Two clerks staring at me as I arrive at front desk. It was 1:00. I was not greeted...just told that check in is at 4:00. I asked if our room was ready. The reply..."check in is at 4:00." When I asked again if our room was ready, I was told that people take advantage of early check in. I didn't understand how people take advantage of early check in. I asked if my husband and I could change in bathroom for a function and at that point the clerk prepared two room passes and told me that she will let the manager know of our early check in. Wasn't sure what that was all about. Also, telephone in room didn't work. Some outlets didn't work. Our TV didn't work. Had to go to the front desk and the clerk brought us a new cable box for us to hook up.
