Stay Express Inn & Suites Demopolis

Terrible management was there 5 days and complained about Plugging toilet and never came. Was told by the maids that the owner would go in rooms when people were gone and plunder. One person in crew found him in his room.

They did not have a room available. How do you do that??

No real problems just old place remodeling...going through growing pains

Nothing the sink was falling in it was nasty and they were rude

I did not end up staying at this hotel and the manager was not friendly. I am requesting a refund, but he refused. Please don't go there.

Do not waste your time. Filthy room - disgusting stains on furniture, layer of dust everywhere, and a bathroom that has need better days (with shower fixtures that pull away from the wall). In addition, there is furniture that is falling apart, a noisy refrigerator, and despite assurances of the front desk staff, NO wifi. In fact, the staff were rather annoyed with my presence - from the time I checked in, to my inquiries about the wifi, to my check out (the dismissive attitude towards a customer by itself should be reason enough to find someplace else to stay). In retrospect, it would have been worth driving an extra hour to another establishment.

horrible could not stay there had to leave. Smelt bad , toilet not safe to sit on, water from sink drained into trash can. Black mold around base board like room had been flood before.

I have been staying at this hotel for years and I have always been pleased with the location, appreciate that all rooms are ground level. This is an older property however, it has been well maintained. The staff have quickly resolved any minor issues that I have gad over the years.

There wasn't anything that we liked about this property. We booked two nights. The first night our money should have need refunded. The room was terrible. It reeked of a stale odor. We had to shop for cleaning products and Lysol. The bathtub had bugs, molds, and mildew, the light bulb was hanging from the lamp and did not work . The light above the sink didn't work. We did asked to be moved, and he stated that he did not have any vacant rooms on the first night,. The parking lot was not not full. I took pictures of all of the infractions. We strongly feel that our first night should be refuned becauseI It was unacceptable no one should have to sleep in those conditions. The second night we moved and the conditions were better but we will not be booking this establishment again.
