Property Notes

Please be sure to check for road closures during winter months. Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) typically closes from late October until late May. When the Tioga Road is closed, it is not possible to drive to Tuolumne Meadows or enter Yosemite National Park from the east. All other park entrances, including those along Highway 120 from the west, Hetch Hetchy, Highway 140, and Highway 41, remain open all year. Please know there will be renovations taking place to the exterior of our property all of April. This work will take place Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, and some noise may be made during the process. We thank you for your patience and understanding. Please note: This year, the Tioga Pass will be closed until late June.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A deposit may be required at the property.

I loved this cozy, historic inn. This place was so great for our family trip to June Mountain. The kitchenette was clean and functional, we were steps away from multiple restaurants, and the extras (movies/games to check out, ice cream night, and morning coffee) were lovely. We will be back!

Leaving was sad.

Heidelberg Inn is always my favorite place to stay in town. Lovely and cozy lobby with a huge fireplace, they got the Jacuzzi working and that made the stay extra special, also has a beautiful sauna. Loved our view of June Lake. Very clean.

Pillows were not my favorite but better than other hotels. Lighting is a bit low at times. A bit outdated but has a nice cozy vibe

"Very cozy atmosphere!"

The balcony was nice, with an amazing view. The large fireplace in the lounge is really nice, very cozy atmosphere. Also, there is was a kitchenette in my unit, with a two burner stove top only, no oven, but luckily they gave toaster ovens you can request at the front dash, that was a plus! Loved that they have a cable channel list printed out for your convenience, there are many channels available and a potable cd player and movies available to watch if you want to check one out from them.

Light in the restroom flickered and possibly needs one bulb to be replaced. Other than that, it’s old, but nice and no other complaints.

"worst hospitality"

Absolutely the worst hospitality I have ever experienced. Even after I requested early check-in well in advance, and despite rooms being available, I was denied. I was traveling with my elderly parents who were exhausted after a long journey from Tahoe, yet the staff still made us wait outside in the rain until 3 PM before allowing check-in. No empathy, no courtesy, and no willingness to accommodate reasonable needs. I have stayed in many hotels, and I have never seen such poor treatment of guests. I would strongly advise avoiding this property.

Love this historic lodge type hotel wirh large seating area with large fireplace. Our room was spacious with separate seating area and kitchenette.

Need more overhead lighting in living room.
