The wifi system has recently changed and it is very poor, unreliable especially after 10pm

Always welcoming, however there is now a £5 parking fee which I wasn’t made aware of until after I’d booked it. Previous visits had been free as it’s on a service station. Other than that it’s always clean and the rooms and corridors are reasonably sound proofed

If your on a working trip don’t expect to be able to use your mobile or data There’s no phone coverage at all and no WiFi Pretty poor really for saying it’s 2025

Unfortunately this wasn’t a great experience. WiFi went down completely from 5pm and didn’t get fixed so couldn’t work from room. The usb charger wall socket was broken and the only plug socket was too close to the desk surface to be able to plug in a usb adapter. No tv remote, reception did give me a spare but that didn’t work. 2nd one did and as the wifi was down it was a last resort. I’d also suggest soft close doors along the hallway as they’re placed every 5 rooms and makes a racket all night through.

Clean and very comfortable

This hotel is need of renovation. Some guest were cooking in their room as you can smell the food.

The communal areas smelt terrible. The room and bathroom didn’t feel clean and the bathroom tiles were chipped. It was a place to get our head down.

Great

Useful if you need to be close to food and just off M40. However, the hotel itself is run down, dirty and the room had a bad smell. Little things like the battery cover for the remote was missing, very dangerous if travelling with small children. I had to dig the plug out of the sink, the hairdryer didn’t heat up, a beetle flew into my head when I was reading, the bedside lamps didn’t work. The key card didn’t work, so another was going to be made and brought to the room, I waited for this to arrive for 15/20 mins, in the end I went to collect it myself. Staff were all serving at the bar which is also reception (not a good family environment). The towels were clean, bedding looked clean. Still would not stay here again.

The evening meal and breakfast were good, but the room lacked shower gel, tissues and glasses. Discovering this at 10 o'clock pm is not helpful. This lack of toiletries, for a motorway services is not helpful to a weary traveller. The TV remote switched on ok but we could not turn it off.
