Ramada by Wyndham Oxford

The hotel is located in a good area but it needs renovation. The curtains are old and looked like it had seen better days. The staff are unfriendly, they do not interact with customers and I believe they need training on how to respond to situations. Terrible time. I didn’t enjoy my stay.

Everything was good. We had a dreadful smell coming up the drains in our room but this was soon resolved. We chose to have breakfast included which wss a massive mistake. As we entered the restaurant every table was full of dirty used breakfast dishes. We were approached by a staff member, who, instead of talking us through what was available her first words were " do you want fried or scrambled egg". We hadn't even found a clean plate at this stage. Fast forward to our cooked breakfast i requested scrsmbled egg. The man in kitchen scraped something from a dish in the kitchen and put it in the microwave. It came steaming, which was a bonus as everything else was cold, however i could have bounced it around the floor, it was like rubber. This experience put a real downer on what was a good stay.

Great hotel, very quiet, clean, spacious, and the location is great.

Property was ok. One aspect that was very inconvenient is that only hot water was running for the faucet. It was painful to use it as the water was scolding hot and no possibility of making it warm and I ended up using the showerhead for routine hand washing. The second room I rented had the same issue as well.

I liked the location. I don't like the variation of costs from one week to the next.

All good for a one night stopover

Would highly recommend this accommodation. Room very clean and spacious. Great amenities. Staff very good. Buffet breakfast was great value with great choices.

Hotel clean, staff friendly, room spacious. Bed was uncomfortable, pillows either too firm or too soft. Overall a good stay for a quick overnight, just not easy to fall asleep or stay asleep

Was convenient for a visit to the John Radcliffe hospital. However had to pay for parking even though it says its free. Also the room turndown service only changed the towels, they never gave fresh mugs, or made the bed. Also there was a faulty socket in the room.
