"Poor"

Harriet was nice and friendly Bed was comfy

No sink or drinking water. Stags on the wall, not our style Poorly insulated, was cold after heating went off. Staircase uncomfortable without shoes Toilet seat didn't stay up. Water on floor of bathroom when we arrived. Some lamps didn't work, one had an intermittent connection. Loud music was playing until 10.30 pm from nearby. Not the owner's fault but poorly insulated doors and windows meant no way of shutting out the sound. TV very small for size of room

I booked this for my family during my wedding and wow is all i can say. The soace was stunning and Harriet and Giles just could not do enough for us. I was blown away by theirckindness and generosity. To the point at which they let us put my wedding cake in the fridge. Honestly the best hosts ive ever had. Thanks so much guys i know it trueky meant the world to my mum.

A truly hidden Gem in absolutely idilic surroundings! “What a Find” I travelled with friends we were met by the most amazing helpful hosts Giles and Harriet from the minute we stepped out of the car nothing was too much trouble for them especially Harriet ❤️ The lodge has absolutely everything you need in it for a mini break or short stay the beds were super comfy! We really had a fantastic time..

It was quite

Dirty , cold , electrics not maintained fire alarm battery bleeping and no one to complain too . No milk or sugar for the tee and coffee . Advertised as a bed and breakfast no breakfast ,on reports said they supplied a continental breakfast , For 140 pound for the night for two/ three people was overpriced for basic accomodation .

The property was very comfortable, well maintained and set within beautiful grounds.

The shower, however the owners are already in the process of repairing it. They were also kind enough to make us aware of the shower before our stay.
