Century Plaza Hotel

The good - right next to the border gate and the famous Luohu shopping mall. The hotel is efficient and business oriented. The bad - avoid the massage parlour. I was harassed for an hour to make a large withdrawal from the bank as a tip. Very strange and unpleasant experience. The rooms have a smoking smell. There are large numbers of pimps who stand outside the hotel who aggressively try to get you to bring a girl to your room. You will be approached by these pimps 3 or 4 times before leaving the hotel car park. Overall, it's OK though, and I would stay here again.

This hotel is right beside the border. It's very much a business hotel. My room was a bit smokey but it was ok. Avoid the hotel massage service - I was very heavily pressured into going to the bank with the masseuse to give her a tip! Strange. I would stay here again though - it's ok!

Really well located hotel. Next to subway and 400m from large shopping centre. The hotel is great as it's very cheap price for the place. It's a 3 star. Stayed here twice as location is great.

This is an old hotel in Shenzhen, very well located in Luohu. The staff wasn't very well trained, but the managers are good to work with. I booked a king room. They don't have any King Beds. NO KING BEDS. They kept saying I was wrong do I proved it to them.

Cockroaches were found inside the wardrobe and the cupboard next to the fridge. The toilet was filthy and filled with the smell of urine.

The room was comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. However, when you check out be sure to ask them explicitly for the refund on your room deposit (quite expensive at 500 RMB) as they don't seem to give it to you automatically. In my case, I had some room charges and the net due me was around 200 RMB which they did not refund. They also didn't give me a final statement either. Anyway, be careful! Postscript: We did follow up with them later and they said they would refund the 200 RMB to my credit card but as of this writing I haven't seen it issued yet.

Room was good but I can hear people singing and loud music from their ktv when my room is on the 12th floor; sleepless night.

All fine.

The hotel staff were so rude and unfriendly the room was so small and breakfast was awful which I don't recommend this hotel
