Duval House

The breakfast was okay. Hard-boiled eggs seemed to be old. Rest of item selection was just okay. Many people liked the waffles. I'd rather have fresh eggs, toast, or biscuits and gravy. But it is included with the room! Pool area was shaded which was nice, and the whole complex was quiet.

1st room they put us in was not good. Bed was upstairs where it was easy to hit your head on the ceiling every time you got up, and the bathroom was downstairs. The second room we were put in (thanks, Duval House) had the bed and bathroom on the same floor. Both rooms were very small, no couch or desk. The second room the small fridge was on the floor. Would a small table to set it on be too much to ask?

The rooms were perfect. I would stay in the same suite again.

the only thing I objected to was that there was construction going on during the day and it reverberated through the walls as I was trying to get some rest in the afternoon to before going out on the town at night. There were a few door latches that needed to be replaced also because they were broken and fell apart every time I tried to open or close it.

This was the best customer service we have had in years. We received a personal mini-tour of the hotel on arrival. The facilities were beautiful and historic. It is within walking distance of all major attractions.

About breakfast I would like to say was normal so they can do better.

Probably if reduce the price for parking inside the property, will be great.

The sight and host was very nice,clean and beautiful garden areas the pool was very nice also room was very clean and the AC would freeze you out but that was ok with me since I love a cold room 10/10

Everything was Great!!

The breakfast crew was very hospitable and super nice. Everyone was a joy. The gardens were incredible. Super close to shops and restaurants. The pool was nice. We would definitely go back. If you are complaining, then it’s probably a you thing.

Probably my 5th stay, it a great place to stay, really nice room,fantastic garden, and the resident cat- kiss kiss is delightful,but really what makes it special is the people they treat you like your family and can’t do enough for you! In the center of everything, but also very peaceful and quiet,and I’ll stay there next trip for sure
