I like the location of this hotel, very convenient and walkable to all the food places. About 10 mins away from waikiki beach. Bus stop is near the block to go around.

The staff was not honest or trustworthy. It is not safe to leave your belongings in your room here. We left a valuable item in our room, thinking it would be safe, but when we returned, we noticed the room had been cleaned and the item was missing. It was stolen within five hours of us leaving the hotel room to get food. We immediately called and reported the issue. After constant complaints and repeated requests to speak with management, they returned the item the next day. However, they claimed they had found it somewhere else in the hotel — a place we did not even have access to before the incident. Very unfortunate experience. We had not even been checked in for 24 hours before dealing with this situation.

Love the restaurant/bar!! Pool was beautiful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly. We had fun on DJ night.

Staff were all excellent. Also love the dog friendliness of the hotel. Hotel location was walking distance to beach and shops. Water station in lobby was also a great feature.

Off site parking should not cost $40 per day. Would not stay here again since other hotels offer the same amenities with onsite parking

After having a very bad experience at a different hotel in Waikiki on a Saturday night my friend and I were stranded in the middle of the night. We booked a room at the Surfjack and because now it was Sunday our check in was supposed to be at 3pm the on suday. We walked to the Surfjack hotel and were met by Tim and Eugene. They were absolutely amazing and accommodating. They helped us get an early check in and got us into a room at that time. They saved our lives! This place is awesome and highly recommended!!!! Rooms are nice and clean and the pool is great!

It’s off the beaten path so it’s quiet yet Waikiki shops and beaches are easily accessible. It’s clean, charming, welcoming, staff is attentive, food and drinks delicious.

The location is great for Waikiki and exploring the island. Room was comfortable, well equipped and clean. Free coffee in the mornings was a plus. Enjoyed the pool.

We booked this hotel because of good reviews and relatively good rate for room and parking. Unfortunately, the cost of parking was put up between when we booked and when we stayed from around 25 dollars to nearly 40 a night. We found this to be too much for a garage that wasn't on site and removes one of the main advantages of this hotel over others. The shower leaked a lot which was a complete waste of water.

We came back to the Surfjack to celebrate our wedding and honeymoon. We were definitely not disappointed. The staff, room, pool, restaurants, retail, and simply everything was amazing. We’re planning our return for our 1 year anniversary in ‘27
