The Surfjack Hotel & Swim Club - NO AMENITY FEE

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was nice. We liked the smallness, location, and ease of getting in and out of the hotel.

The room was very dated and had a very strong smell of mildew and mold that did not air out. The mattress was very old, sleeping in a dip the whole time. Room’s furnishings and carpets needed updating. We were moved to a different room due to the mildew/mold smell but it was the same. We just decided to tough it out and slept with all doors/windows open.

My family and I had a great stay at the SurfJack. The staff were so great, super helpful and very quick to take care of anything we asked or let them know about. We have a toddler and a dog and the room layout worked out great for us. House keeping staff was always very kind, flexible, thorough and accommodating. The food at Mahina & Suns was always fresh and quick to come out. Customer service at the SurfJack was top notch all around. Kaui, Hoku, Phil, Shep, Whit and Sal along with the rest of the staff always did a fantastic job and we would definitely come back to stay and recommend the SurfJack to anyone coming to Oahu. Perfect location, friendly staff and delicious restaurant.

the staff were very sweet and helpful. the location is great, within walking distance to the beach and many restaurants.

the hotel feels quite old and you can notice it. we saw cockroaches around the property, which was uncomfortable. there was also a lot of noise coming from the neighboring rooms. if you’re visiting honolulu, you’ll probably spend most of your day outside, so the hotel was enough for that.
