We enjoy mountain air but traffic noise too loud to keep windows open. Otherwise great hotel.

"Pleasantly Surprised"

10.0

Contrary to the lukewarm reviews, we thought the Gateway Mountain Lodge was perfectly fine. We (2 adults and 1- 6 y/o) stayed in an Efficiency. It had a comfortable queen and pullout couch. Small kitchenette as advertised. I wouldn't cook in there, but serviceable to heat stuff up. Pretty stocked with dishes, bowls, glasses etc. No dishwasher (I probably would have brought paper plates if I had known.) Bathroom was surprisingly large. The room was clean. It isn't a luxury Keystone Property, but it was nice. Pool/Hot tub was small, but okay - could use a clean. We came to ski and that we did. They even gave us FREE night skiing passes for the night of arrival. Super-fun. Maybe we are undemanding, but have stayed all around Summit county, we will be back.

"Ski Trip to Keystone"

6.0

Stayed for a couple nights on a short ski trip. Decent size room with queen bed, sleeper sofa and small kitchenette. Met the need, but this place is getting a little dated. Nice that shops and restaurants were close.

"OK but could be better."

4.0

My reservation was for the hotel, not the condo that they offered. I went to the hotel that has only valet parking. The hotel said they had a condo available (I did not book the condo). The hotel told me to drive down the road to the condo registration. When I go there, they said I needed to drive again to the condo down the road. I went to three places to get to the room/condo. Hallways had the temperature way too high. Coffee maker did not work. Mold in shower walls.

"Nice place for the price!"

8.0

Room was great, staff was nice and the perks were awesome. The free 1/2 day lift tickets were excellent! Nearby lifts and slopes, and right next to Christy Sports Ski rentals where they were very nice as well.

"Horrible"

2.0

Never got to stay. There was a very bad storm and road conditions were horrible. This hotel would not change our reservation. Customer service was rude. Never again! This hotel or hotels.com
