Drury Inn & Suites Columbus Dublin

I have really come to love all Drury hotels. This one was no exception, it was great. As usual, the room was very nice, very clean, the staff is so friendly and helpful. In the morning there was a wonderful breakfast buffet with eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, oatmeal, various cereals to choose from, toast and bagels, yogurt, fruit, juices. And they also keep the coffee and soda machines working all day. From 4 PM to 8 PM there is always popcorn for you to snack on. Then at 5:30 PM, they put out various dinner entrées, salads, soup, hot dogs for the kids, enough to make an entire dinner. This is all included in your room price which is always very reasonable. Drury hotels are so nice, and a great value for everything that you get. I have been to several different Drury hotels and have always had a very good experience. I highly recommend them to all my friends and family, and always look for a Drury hotel in whatever city I am in, as they seem to be expanding throughout the United States now. It is my utmost most favorite hotel chain to use, no matter where I am at. I am a fan of not only this hotel but all the Drury hotels I have been at.

Too far from Ohio stadium

Everything was fine so we thought until we where driving room after our stay.

To the Drury Inn Management Team, My husband (72) and I (65) recently stayed at your hotel under confirmation FJV3YGRQR. While we are long-time members of Marriott and Hilton, our experience with your property was deeply upsetting and has left us questioning if we will ever stay at a Drury Inn again. Upon entering our room at the start of our stay, we noticed a plastic bag covering the smoke detector. We assumed this was something the hotel had placed there for maintenance or safety reasons. However, on our drive home, we received a voicemail regarding our room. When we returned the call, we were shocked to be told that we were being charged a $250 housekeeping fee for "vaping or smoking" because the cleaning crew found that bag. I had to wait over an hour to speak with the manager, Afretia. While she eventually apologized and reversed the charge after I explained that the bag was there when we arrived, the damage was done. Being accused of a policy violation because a housekeeper failed to properly inspect the room before our arrival is unacceptable. Furthermore, it makes me question the overall cleanliness of a room where such an obvious safety hazard was overlooked by staff. We have never been accused of such behavior in all our years of travel. This experience has left us speechless. While I understand how a covered alarm might look, the immediate assumption of guilt was handled poorly. As a result, we will not be returning to this location, and we have decided not to pursue a membership with Drury Inn. Sincerely, Carrie Barnstien

The very friendly staff, clean facility and the fact that it cane with breakfast and dinner with free drinks was so nice. I didnt have to worry too much about food.

The drainage in the water faucet was faulty so it took a while for the water to drain but asides that it was a good experience
