Sky Rock Sedona, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Just perfect

The location is amazing the views are beautiful! The staff was wonderful!

We are Marriott loyalists. Very rarely do we stay in any other brand. While Sky Rock is in a beautiful location it is only …..meh. What really burns our butts is the charge for parking. I understand a parking charge for a downtown location or valet parking but this was just a run of the mill parking lot! It is such a scam because literally Eveyone has to drive here. Just charge more for the outrageously priced room! We paid our fee during checkin and went to our room. After a very long day of traveling we rested for a couple of hours and then went down to the lobby. A planned evening of drinks and a light snack turned into a quick drink and early night. The hotel had a local musician playing that must have attracted the entire population of Sedona. The bar area was very crowded and noisy (so munch for the tranquility and calmness) and the bartenders were SO rude! We decided that maybe we should head out for drinks and dinner but the parking lot was completely full and we were afraid to move our car! I wonder if all of the locals had to pay to park? Regardless to say, our first night in Sedona at Sky Rock was not what we were hoping for.

Great, hotel enjoyed our stay. Our first night Kelly was very attentive and Molly as well. The only turning point was one evening looking for parking space in the parking lot of the hotel, we actually drove around 5 times but no space. My husband got off the car and asked an employee were to park and he (Andre) was argumentative, so I decided to talk to him, he treated me the same way. He said to park in the street, we told him they charged us $36 a night and we have to park in the street, he said yes, we owned the street too, he had such an attitude He was loud and aggressive the way he handled the situation and his behavior. NO courtesy from a hotel employee to a hotel guest. This individual needs a lot more training how to talk to people in a business place.

Sky Rocks Sedona is in the most beautiful location. The room was spotless (thank you, housekeeping). The star at Sky Rocks is the lovely Travis at reception. He was friendly, welcoming, and professional. Congratulations to the manager of this Marriott property. Your staff make you look really good.

Beautiful property with comfortable, modern room.

Close to food and had a great view.

Share balcony, curtains kept falling off, door broke and we couldn't get into the room, have to pay to park. For the money spent i definitely could have stayed somewhere better.

wrong booked room sad experience

After checking out of this hotel, I encountered an extremely frustrating experience while trying to recover a lost item. Following Marriott’s official instructions, I submitted a lost item report through the hotel’s designated platform, ILeftMyStuff.com. I completed the form and waited patiently for a response. When I heard nothing back, I called the hotel directly. A staff member assured me that they would look into it and have the item sent back to me — I was relieved. But to my surprise, that turned out to be the first and only message I ever received. Since then, I’ve sent multiple follow-up emails — all of which were completely ignored. I then contacted Marriott corporate. Their response? They said that after speaking with hotel management, they could only advise me to go back to ILeftMyStuff.com, create a profile, and re-submit the claim — essentially sending me right back to square one. This back-and-forth between the hotel and the third-party platform became a game of hot potato, with no one taking ownership. To this day, I have received neither my item nor a clear answer. It’s deeply disappointing to see such poor coordination between Marriott and its partners. Travelers deserve a better system — one with clear communication and actual accountability.

We absolutely loved our stay!!!! It was gorgeous! Had a super cute trail to walk and everyone was so kind. We fell in love With Sedona so we will definitely be back!
