The Alpine House

We were here for several nights on the front and back end of our trip to the National Parks. It's a great location with most of downtown in walking distance. The room was very comfortable and clean and the staff were great. The breakfasts included with the room were excellent. We had a king room with a "full balcony" which was just large enough for two chairs. It over looked the parking lot and hotel across the alley, but did have a view of the hills next to town.

Perfect location

This was a very disappointing experience. Booking this property requires a warning: specifically, request not to be placed on the first floor, especially room 107. We booked a deluxe king room and, a week prior, purchased an upgrade after receiving an email offer. Upon check-in, we were assigned room 107, partially underground in the basement, facing the parking lot with tires. The bathroom had mold on the shower ceiling, raising questions about the upgrade's quality. The front desk refused to relocate us and only provided the manager's email. The manager responded promptly the next morning and offered a 50% discount, but we would have preferred to pay full price for a room that matches the website’s description. To make matters worse, they asked if we wanted to pay for a late check-out. We couldn’t leave this property quickly enough. Consider this a strong warning.

Close to town. But. Falling apart. Junky. Very disappointed.

While we had a few hiccups with our guest room, the staff was very nice in trying to help us resolve the issues. And while our guest room was small, the location was wonderful, the breakfast was great and the ownership took care in compensating us for the inconveniences we incurred during our stay.

We spent two nights here and it was a perfect stay. The breakfasts were beyond fantastic, the staff was helpful walked to dinner and shopping both days. I was nervous about parking, but they had more than enough.

No elevator to the second floor. Great restaurant next door that didn’t like serving takeout - somewhat rude when I picked up the takeout.

Great location. Clean! Nice breakfast. I would definitely stay again.
