Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Marina by IHG

I only had one complaint and that was that they didnt give any indication they were going to be closing half of the parking to resurface the lot. So there were nit enough parking spots for all of the people staying at the hotel.

The staff were very rude. The elevator was broken and they didn’t want to tell us until we had paid. There was no parking due to construction and they told us it wasn’t their problem. They told us at breakfast was open until 930 but when we got there at seven, when they opened at six, there was no breakfast left and they weren’t going to refill it And the hot tub was disgusting

DO NOT stay here! I barely know where to start. We tried to check in at 3:20, hoping our room would be ready early. It wasn’t but the front desk team member said she would call us when it was. Did she? Nope. When we arrived later with our full luggage cart, she says the elevator is temporarily out of service and points us to the stairs. I let her know this wasn’t the hotel stay I agreed to pay for and wanted to speak with a manager. She said she would have them contact me. Did they ever contact me? Nope. Luckily the elevator was fixed the next day but we found out the breakfast that was supposed to run until 9:30 only meant that the area would be open that long. The food ran out way before that two days in a row. Housekeeping? You have to request it the night before if you want it regardless of how many days you’re staying. Fun fact, there’s a giant wall open to the outside with some cinder blocks and a net covering it to keep out people? Raccoons? Idk what that net is supposed to do. Our last night there we pull up to find half the parking lot blocked off for some renovations the next 3 days. Did they reduce the number of guests/cars that would be staying there to go with this? Nope. In short, this was the worst IHG experience I’ve ever had and wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here.

Our stay went very well, it was clean and the staff were friendly. But they need to hire more staff. I feel for the staff trying to keep up with the guests…we needed more towels but couldn’t get a hold of someone and the breakfast, it was a shame to see that staff had to struggle to get more food in stock.

The free breakfast was tasty and a great way to start the day. The room was very comfy, pillows and towels were good. The amenities you get for the price, worth it.

Breakfast ran out of small thing's like forks, napkins and coffee.

Great stay- drivable to Monterrey. No complaints. No pool but very much enjoyed the jacuzzi

The elevator was broken and was only told once we paid, the room was clean but we were on first floor and it was so loud above us late at night and early morning, we can hear conversations clearly from the rooms next to us. The breakfast was open until 9:30 we got there @8am and there was no food left. I don’t recommend.
