Paint in the room peeling,asked for it to be serviced but floors not vaccumned,beds ok

Wow. Where to start? Well maybe it was a great hotel in the 1970's, but is has not been upgraded since then, including the Mattress. It was so bad that we checked out after 1 night of a 3 night stay. Very Disappointing. It has potential, but needs some major TLC. Not sure this hotel should be on the Expedia list of selections. I would rate it a 1 out of 5. and even that will be a stretch.

Receptionist: minimal knowledge of customer care. She simply does not care and does not know even such basic facts as whether breakfast is inclusive. The restaurant is very basic. Crockery dirty and greasy. Room: two lights not working. Toilet half functional. Overall: If you want to spend a night it is OK but don't plan to stay longer.

Bed was comfortable but hotel is in urgent need of refurbishment and carpets need a deep clean!

Great for price clean and tidy, we only stayed over night to catch a flight first thing, staff were exceptional and very friendly, hotel although it was very clean could do with a bit of up do as it looks old and tired, my daughter was woken a few times because of noise on upper floors

Lovely location in the quaint village of Hale. Clean, polite staff and all facilities as expected for the price, which was good value. Good night’s sleep both nights and will definitely go back again. Thank you

Just a very well placed hotel for a ridiculously early flight from Manchester. Turned out to be so much better than we needed, and will definitely use it again for early flights.

Nice hotel basic but alright if you only want to get your head down great links to Manchester
