Liverpool Aigburth Sefton Park Hotel By Belvilla

The hotel was old and dirty, my bedroom had chips in the doors and woodwork. My TV had 1 or 2 televisions and the rest were foreign language. The window didn’t close properly and was extremely dirty with cobwebs and dirt. The room seemed to have a bug problem with bugs found in and around the room. The room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke enough to make me feel sick

Great hotel, sitting on the edge of Sefton Park. Easy check in even though I was late getting down from Glasgow. Hassan the hotel manager, WhatsApp me my room access key allowing me to go directly to my room without having to worry about the late check in. Plenty of parking spaces and costs £5 for 24 hours, on par with parking in the city. Hassan also upgraded my room to a lovely suit which was very much appreciated, roll top bath, large double shower, and a bed that could sleep a family. Room and bathroom spotless. If im back in the area I would have no hesitation in stopping in this hotel again. A short walk from the hotel there are fabulous restaurants and bars to enjoy an evening out. And then there is the park on your doorstep, well worth a stroll to walk off your dinner.

My stay was amazing. My room was cosy, warm and clean. Very comfortable. Very good location by Sefton Park, The staff was very helpful. I highly recommend it

THIS IS NOT A BEST WESTERN. The photos on the website in no way resemble this hotel. I booked a Best Western, so knew what I was getting—or so I thought. We checked in and, running late for an event, quickly dropped our bags and headed out. It wasn’t until we returned around 2:45am that we discovered the room was in a shocking state: dirty, damp, and dusty walls; a stained carpet; an odd smell in the bathroom; and an exterior light beaming into the room through curtains that wouldn’t shut. The sheets were stained, the window frames were rotten and cracked, and there was cosmetic damage to nearly every item and surface. I couldn’t even bring myself to get into the bed. If I hadn’t needed to collect equipment nearby on the Sunday, I would have left immediately. I have asthma and it's a good job I had inhalers with me. We weren’t alone. In the morning, we encountered three other groups of guests who were equally appalled. I understand the property has just changed ownership, but that’s no excuse. The owners should not be accepting bookings until the rooms meet basic hygiene and safety standards. This was not just disappointing—it was wholly unacceptable.

Hassan was a great host, provided great service upon arrival and helped out when required too. I stayed here twice in 1 week. Great location, across from Sefton park and easy routes into the city.

Georgous hotel smelt amazing as soon as you came in Hassan is a lovely man my husband and i booked a room and Hassan immediately changed and upgraded our room as my husband has asthma and needed more window air spotless room and bathroom with coffees and teas etc I recommend staying here and its really cheap we paid £46 and it was worth well more i would definitely stay here again x

Owner were absolutely amazing very friendly and welcoming would definitely recommend staying here I will definitely be coming back and it’s lovely location to 😀👌

4 weeks before my daughters communion they cancelled by email our function room booking, that we had booked 6mths in advance. No warning just sorry we are cancelling your booking & dep etc will be refunded within 30days. Sadly the booking was cancelled so last minute that we couldn’t secure another venue for our daughter’s communion celebration. I’ve since found out, that this is one of the hundreds of hotels cashing in on the government’s diabolical migration scheme to houses these poor folk in a hotel room for months / if not years on end. While theses hotel companies make a huge profit, this sadly do have a knock on effect economically on local areas & business, they no longer have people staying / tourists spending money locally.

For the price this is a good find, bar was closing when we got there so limited in that respect, room was decent albeit a little dated, small bathroom. But very decent for the price
