Santo Mangata Boutique Hotel and Spa

We cannot fault Santo Mangata at all. The room was fantastic, had a shaded private outside area and jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was temperature controlled which isn’t common in Santorini. We had an issue with the room we were given originally (couldn’t use the stairs inside), and we were promptly moved which we really appreciated. The hotel has a long pool, with comfy squishy bean-bags (better than sun lounges), right next to the outside bar, and an inside dining area. The sort of place you can get everything you need without leaving. The atmosphere is very adult, and couple-y, primarily people in their mid 30s-40s. It was nice to always have vibrant song covers playing to relax at the bar or by the pool side. Perfect balance of lively music without it feeling like trying to create a party. All the staff were lovely nice people, and really attentive. Even made us bespoke drinks based on our preferences, and ensured we could have iced lattes with soya milk. Shout out to Mike and Chris in particular for their social vibe! The hotel is only a five-minute walk to Perissa beach, which was perfect for us. Even better, while we were waiting for our evening flight, we were allowed to keep using the facilities - even the pool! This made a normally stressful day much smoother. Recommend and will happily stay again!

Ich hatte einen rundum perfekten Aufenthalt! Das Zimmer war modern, geräumig und makellos sauber. Das Frühstück liess keine Wünsche offen – grosse Auswahl, frisch und lecker. Der Poolbereich war ruhig und sehr gepflegt, ideal zum Entspannen. Auch das Gym war top ausgestattet und sauber. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, alles ist gut erreichbar. Der Service war durchweg freundlich und professionell. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

Un hôtel incroyable ! Le staff est aux petits soins, toujours souriant et d’une grande gentillesse. Tout est d’une propreté irréprochable (bravo à la femme de ménage 👏). Le petit déjeuner est très bon et varié, la piscine superbe, et l’emplacement est idéal avec un parking pratique.

Es ist alles einfach ausgezeichnet! Ich weiß nicht wo ich anfangen soll: die Ankunft im Hotel hat uns bereits total begeistert, welcoming durch den Manager persönlich mit welcome-drink. Wir sind sehr spät angekommen (gegen 23h) an dem Abend hat im Hotel ein Barbecue stattgefunden uns wurde angeboten Abend zu essen ohne Verrechnung der Speisen, also einfach als Geste. Frühstück top, Hotel Sauberkeit top, Hotelanlage + Equipment top. Das gesamte Hotelkonzept ist perfekt durchdacht man merkt die Liebe zu den Details und der Arbeit. Die Hotelcrew ist so aufmerksam und freundlich, dass man sich vor Ort so fühlt als ob man immer schon dort gewesen ist. Ein richtiges Heimgefühl hatten wir.

I had the pleasure of staying at Santo Mangata, and I can honestly say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the exceptional service and the warm welcome from the hotel staff (including the director). Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and always at our disposal to ensure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find that our room had been upgraded to a jacuzzi room. The room itself was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully maintained, with every detail carefully attended to. Cleanliness was clearly a top priority throughout the hotel, from the rooms to the common areas, and it made our stay feel particularly refreshing and relaxing. Breakfast at the hotel was an absolute delight. The food was delicious, with an impressive variety that catered to every taste. Fruits, pastries, eggs prepared in different styles, and a range of hot and cold options made every morning a treat. Dinner options were equally excellent, with a wide selection of local dishes. The hotel's location is another major plus. It is quiet and peaceful, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring the island. Parking is easy, which is a huge advantage for those traveling by car. The swimming pool was great and very inviting, providing a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the sun. Access to the beach is very convenient, with the nearest beach just a short walk away. The beach itself is very clean, with umbrellas and loungers readily available, making it perfect for a day of sunbathing or swimming. Additionally, the hotel’s location makes it easy to reach all of Santorini’s most beautiful beaches, allowing for easy exploration of the island’s stunning coastline. Overall, our stay at Santo Mangata was truly exceptional! Very recommended to individuals, couples, and groups of friends as well.

My first response would be the friendliness of the staff . Nothing was too much bother . A special shout out to Biona on reception and Mike on breakfast duty ( always smiling and courteous as were all the staff) . Everyone looked happy and were always cheerful . On arrival as it was our 30 th wedding anniversary we were upgraded to a honeymoon suite ❤️ . We were shown to our room with its own jacuzzi with a stunning view of the mountain it was just wow . The decor throughout the hotel is just so tranquil and tasteful. The pool area and bar staff is gorgeous and the whole vibe is happy and chill. We both had fabulous massages in the spa area and they were excellent . On check out although our flights were late evening we got to chill by the pool and had many choices of places to shower before our taxi to airport which again was organised by the hotel . Last days can be stressful but this was such a chill day. There is a bus stop across the road which made seeing the island very easy . The black beach is only a short walk and plenty of restaurants to chose from if you wanted to eat outside of the hotel . We only had breakfast in the hotel which was always fresh and tasty .,

That we were only there for a week. Honestly I could not fault it . We both loved it .,
