Poplars Farm

The proprietor was apparently abroad when we arrived. The door was locked, no one answered the doorbell and we were left standing for 20 minutes after a very stressful day. We had to find alternative accommodation in an area we do not know. We stated in advance that we may be late as we were travelling a distance from a funeral, but the owner obviously was not interested in our business. A shame as I prefer to use independent accommodation usually, but this was a complete let down. Cannot recommend.

No one answered the door

Good shower, comfortable bed, everything nice and clean.

No decaf coffee offered, no room in bathroom for toiletries, room was set up for one person so we had to ask for additional things for 2 of us (cup, towels etc). Door handles need fixing as they are loose. Room 1 has lots of traffic noise, windows are double glazed though so not sure what could be done here.

The house, room and bedroom wete lovely. Surprised at the cost considering no breakast or l would give to marks.
