"No Breakfast Service Monday Morning at a Full-Service Hotel???"

This is a nice property in downtown Akron, and the staff was friendly. But Monday mornlng, I walked to the lobby at about 8 for breakfast before i left, but the restaurant was closed. "Chef had an emergency this morning," front desk told me. What about Plan B? I worked in the hospitality industry. Grab some pastries and fruit from the kitchen. Boxes of cereal and milk. Juices. Take care of your guests! Did all your server staff all have emergencies, too? Pardon my cynicism, but I saw only one other guest in the hotel on Sunday and Monday morning. Front desk clerk told me the place was dead. I have to wonder if someone just decided to have an "emergency" and cut their losses. At $195 rate, I expected better.

I never do reviews but I just need to brag about this place. Not only was it beautiful & classy, it was the cleanest place I have ever stayed. The mattress was pure heaven, we slept like babies. We definitely will choose this place whenever we stay in Akron ❤️

Not only were the hotel staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable and friendly, but the next morning when we went to the Hotel restaurant our waitress, Latoya, and the gentleman that Cooked our food, Chris, we're not only friendly and informative and just super fun but the two of them made our next morning brunch really amazing. The chicken and waffles that Chris made weren't just delicious they were one of the best brunches I've ever had and that is mind-boggling for a hotel restaurant & I left Latoya a tip that was as much as our breakfast because she earned it. Fantastic service fantastic food and a really cool hotel. We will definitely be back for all of the above reasons. Five star stay five star room five star shower, five star service and five star food. Without a doubt highly recommended.
