Heron House Court - Adult Only

This place is very dated and not clean. The furnishings are old, worn out, and dirty. We’ve been here for 4 days and I’ve asked when the pool will be cleaned 3 times and it has yet to be done. It’s not usable in its current state. The breakfast is awful - hard boiled eggs, stale bread products, boxed juice, boxed milk, generic regular yogurt and limited fruit. Don’t waste your money. Find a place where you’re not afraid to barefoot in the room.

This place is a convenient walk to the main area Duval Street. It is in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the main drag. My wife and i stayed in room #14. It was in need of a good refurbishing. Pealing grout, dirty walls, dirty baseboard, broken shutters on the windows are just a few examples of why I would not return. Also this property charges a “resort fee” but not sure for what. They do have a heated pool, a very sparse breakfast and free WiFi for $34 a nite. I do have to say, the gentlemen that were at the front desk were very nice at check-in and check-out. From what I have seen while in Key West there are many choices you have when choosing a place to stay but you should spend your hard earned money and go elsewhere.

Stayed here 22/06 - 27/06 2025 Have stayed at this place several times because of a gentleman at Roman who works here. Unfortunately, this man's kindness is no longer enough to have made us return several times. Heron House Court is now far too worn out for this. It started with us barely getting the door to the room open, this problem persisted throughout our stay. The furniture is worn and stained. When the AC is on, the noise level is 63dB, which means that it is impossible to sleep with it on. When we point out the problem, they just shrug their shoulders and say you get used to it. The sink was loose and was about to fall off. Pointed out this when we arrived, however, it was only fixed after 4 days (which did not last). On the second day I found a cockroach in the room, told them about this with zero action during the entire stay. No, this place needs a proper TLC for the value for money to correspond to the cost when you stay here. Pros: Pool. Quiet. Lighter breakfast. Cons: In general, this hotel is very worn out. Dirty sofa. The door to the room is almost impossible to close and lock. Broken sink in the toilet that was not properly fixed throughout the week. (An emergency solution was made that broke right away) Loud noise from the AC (63dB). Pests in the room (cockroaches) were discovered on the second day and were not remedied. There are other accommodations with better value for money Beds 3 (see below *). Value for money 1 (see below **). *(Sinks through 0 - Average 5 - lies on top of the mattress 10) **(Throws money down the drain 0 - Break Even 5 - Highest profit 10)

The room was small and comfortable. It had everything I needed.

It was a perfect Birthday stay. Definitely will return, Roman the Host was awesome. And the room was perfect.

We had a great stay! Cute resort and easily accessible location. We rented a scooter as it is a piece off from most of the downtown action.
