Odyssey of South Beach Apart Hotel

Very basic room. Did not have maid service for my 2 day stay. No coffee maker bare bones. Mattress was so soft it was undeniable. Construction on the building next door.

To begin the property was very easy to find, BUT there was no parking options on the website. Luckily there was parking not to far away with in and out privilege for $20/day. The hotel felt safe and was VERY close to all of south beach, restaurants, bars, ect. Easy to access throughout the day. The downfall to not having a service person even though check in was extremely easy was that when we had questions and called the hotel and the number to contact the hotel just rings busy. No matter what time we tried calling night, afternoon, morning no answer and no help. The room itself was clean and surprisingly big. Wr had two queen beds and each were in their own room which was wonderful for privacy.

Good but a lot of car louder music at night

The condensation from the air conditioning was leaking all over the room. My shower did not have no hot water.

This was such a disappointment. I have low standards for a hotel and still I was debating using “hotel tonight” to escape this place. I killed 4 spiders in 3 days in the room, not surprising because the room, bathroom, tv, hallways, emergency exit signs all had big spiderwebs. It was like the place hadn’t been cleaned in months. The headboard is cheap vinyl (that’s fine, I don’t need anything fancy) but the vinyl was flaking off everywhere. The bed frame itself was stained and showing signs of damage in multiple spots. At some point, even a cheap hotel should be replacing furniture when it’s well past its prime. The building hallways had multiple (and I mean many) holes and damage. It was like someone walked down each hallway swinging a hammer. Still, I’d be willing to overlook all this because all I need really is a place to leave my stuff while visiting. But that kind of place shouldn’t cost $150 a night, regardless of timing or season. It was a garbage hotel.

This hotel has so much potential but the upkeep is not there. Our first room had burn holes on the comforter, stains on the walls and sheets. Building and rooms all smelled like mildew. We had to go out and buy candles because it was nasty. The location of the hotel is great but not for the price you pay. I’m our second room because they upgraded it… no matter what you do the floor gets soaked in the bathroom. They also charge for towels!!

Everything was horrible. I didn’t even stay there at the property. I tried to get a refund the day that I checked in after I seen the room. That’s how bad it was. So grossed out. Room was dirty. Found old cups in the window seals, vents falling down etc. worse experience of my life thus far!!!!

The floor was sticky and I wouldn't recommend it. Lots of better hotels in the area. The floor was all torn up I am guessing there was a flood it had a pretty musty smell. The room was ridiculously small there was only about 6 inches between the bed and the wall you had to shuffle to get from one side of the bed to the other. The bed was broken in the middle so it sagged to the ground. Also there was no breakfast and all the other people in the hotel were loud as hell.

The layout of the room was perfect and the location was very convenient to everything

Very nice budget accomodation. I did not pay much, but i was please with my value. Would definately stay again, if i was wife-less
