Nevada City Inn

It was a horrible experience.The first room didn't even have the lines up on the door and it was very dirty so they gave us a different room.That room was still not that clean.Air conditioning did not work.It was a horrible stay for 3 days.I would never go back

I didn't like anything there

Hot water good, bed ok an towels clean in 2nd room

Looks like a dump, furniture outside, lumber nails where car was parked, unclean, bad rooms, windows in bathroom with no screen or curtains, other room- window nailed shut and painted, unrepaired wood and inside, junk outside, junky garden/plants and weeds, No TV access for whole stay, coffee pit would not reach to plug it in and had to make coffee on floor, tiny heater???

Bed was comfortable, location was decent, staff were efficient at check in/out

Blinds missing slats or missing entirely, our room looked “remodeled” but lots of actual damage had clearly been left unrepaired, heard entire conversations from the room next door so not a quiet stay.

The Wi-fi and we had hot water when we showered were the only things we liked.

This place is awful. The rooms are gross, unfinished, and absolutely falling apart, on my first night there, I spent a half hour trying to kill a bunch of bugs, The vent in the bathroom was literally hanging off the wall by a nail when I arrived, None of the amenities that were supposed to be included in the room I paid for we’re working, And they leave the bright fluorescent hallway light on right outside my window all night long, Which made it nearly impossible to sleep since they only have tiny flimsy window curtains. I had informed the staff Two nights into my five nights stay that the microwave and my room wasn’t working and that I’d really appreciate it being either fixed or replaced so that I could cook and eat the food I had in the refrigerator so not to have to constantly spend more money on food, And no one ever came to fix or replace it. The entire building and property is full of junk, Random broken appliances and scrap wood lying around, and it looks like a junkyard. I’m honestly pissed that I even had To pay as much as I did to stay in that dump.

The staff is attentive and very kind !

It’s old, run down, hardly any amenities in the rooms. We paid for a cabin and the living room didn’t even have a table in it. It did have one small chair not big enough for 2 people so if we wanted to hang out in the living room one of has to stand or sit on the floor. The dining area had 2 broken wooden chairs and a table that looked like they were going to throw it away and so they left it outside for month and then just brought it back in. It had leaves and spider webs all in it and it was broken as well. It was pushed into the corner of the room and it was heavy so no sitting at the dining room table. Kitchens fridge was rusty inside and not suitable to store food in. The floor was dirty and needed to be mopped
