Madeira Regency Cliff - Adults Only

The view from the balcony and the breakfast terrace were breathtaking. The breakfast was very good, including the yogourt and bread selections. The staff were very friendly and most communicated in English.

Parking was a problem as the hotel provided only 9 parking spots which were mostly occupied. Parking on neighborhood streets or in close by underground garages was available at a fee.

Close distance to some fun dining and ocean swimming access.

Great staff, very helpfull, location & view from the balcony just perfect.

Repetetive breakfast, but can’t complain about the food quality, apart of that everything was perfect 🫶

Music or evening entertainment on occasion would have been nice. Food very average. Air con broke in our room on our second last day. No compensation offered ( not even a free drink). Although we were offered a change of room for our last night.

We have been visiting the Madeira Regency Cliff Hotel for eleven years and each time we have been very satisfied with our stay. Wonderful, friendly and competent staff, ocean view, good varied breakfasts, intimate nature of the hotel - these are the most important advantages. Front desk staff always very helpful - I especially greet Nadia Abreu and Nori Rodriguez. I also greet Senhora Magda and her colleagues - such friendly service can be found only at Regency Cliff.

Good place for people who want a peaceful and pleasent stay: Great breakfast with one dish changing everyday; beautiful terrace to eat there. Great isolation, no noise. Silent streets at night. Beautiful ocean view through balconies. Hotel car ride to downtown for the guests. Clean rooms, operative cleaning service. Polite and helpful staff.

Great location- super breakfast and cocktails ( including 25% off happy hour) - lovely views and staff lovely.

Adults only but directly above public Lido so summer holiday noise a real issue- no sun on balcony all day. Breakfast fantastic but evening buffet did not seem great. No capacity for ( paid) one hour later check- out and no alternative offered. Pool terrace and availability of bed poor for hotel of this kind.

Very pleasant, comfortable hotel, well located. Excellent outside terrace restaurant with superb views. Buffet breakfast and dinner with varied, interesting menus. Helpful reception staff.

Superior room as chosen a tad small, but this in no way affected the enjoyment of our stay.
