AmericInn by Wyndham Stonecrest near Atlanta

It was a quick and easy check in. The front desk staff was very nice and pleasant. The hotel is located around numerous restaurants. It was also close to the event I was attending which made it so easy to get back and forth. I was disappointed the pool and gym was closed. There does need to be some upgrading to the rooms. The tv remote had tape on the back to keep the batteries in and some of the molding needs to be fixed. All in all, it was a decent overnight stay.

The Front Desk staff had no idea what they were doing. We were prepaid but were told that I needed to swipe my card to confirm. Their system then provided notification of a double charge. I expect to be reimbursed. There wasn’t a remote control for television and no bath towels in the room. We were eventually provided both of those to our room. The remote didn’t have a cover over the battery compartment. The desk clerk had to get bath towels from another guest’s room. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bath water was barely lukewarm and it took a bit of work to turn the faucet off. There were no napkins nor cups of any type in the room. We were told to expect a “grab and go” breakfast. There were ONLY packets of grits and oatmeal. Nothing else. We rushed to get out of there!!!

The staff was friendly. The room, bathroom and furnishing was disgusting. We had to go to the store and purchase cleaning suppliers and wash the bathroom prior to using it. The toilet had black stuff inside and i had to get a tiolet brush from the staff to clean it out because here was no maintenance staff to do so. The sofa was badly strained and the carpet was disgusting with stains all over. The elevator and the hallway smelled like Marijuana. The online booking indicated that breakfast was included but when we got there we were told, it was not. I definitely would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anybody.

Horrible Horrible Horrible

They gave my room to someone else, and gave me a room that no one should ever have to lounge in…not alone sleep or shower in. The bathroom had no light. Stains all on the carpet in different areas. Yellow stains on the couch that took up at least a third of the couch. Hair was under the Borge the comforter and sheet that was on the bed. White large stains we on the counter tops throughout the bathroom. An earwig was crawling in the bathroom. The tub needed to be enameled because blacks marks existed. The missing bathroom light was on a shelf in the closet. I took pix of it all. When I gave the front desk back the key the next morning (after sleeping at the Hilton), she said leaving so soon…? Looked at the room number and said “oh…okay”, like she knew why and the condition of the room. I slept two hours in the lobby of the Hilton until they gave me a room at 5am in the morning (I gladly paid the additional charge of $75 to check in early in order to get a room that was clean and acceptable so I could rest after). traveling for hours…).

Close to everything

I came all the way from Arkansas. I paid $500 to stay in this hotel. It wasn’t clean, elevators couldn’t work, I asked for fresh towels everyday and couldn’t get them. Workers were not nice at all. I just feel like I paid way too much for what I got.

There was damage to the room prior to Estus staying. He had to clean the shower and the bed had pubic hair on the sheets and pillows. This is not acceptable. We will never use another AmericInn by Wyndham again. I have pictures of the filthy room and shower.

The staff were very kind and friendly. Helpful when they can be. However the facility itself was in very poor taste. Apparently they are under new management and hence many amenities are unavailable. No pool. Cold to go breakfast. Our room was pretty filthy. There were stains all over the carpet and couch, the tv remote and phone did not work, we needed to go down stairs if we needed assistance, there were splash stains on our headboards and tables. Neighbors blasted music and we saw a few individuals with fire arms or openly smoking. There was water damage in the hall, having the place smell of mildew. If looking for a place to rest your head for a few hrs cool, but if want comfort, this isn't the place to go.

Advertised breakfast, there was nothing, not even coffee. Our floor smelled of weed, definitely not conducive to a family atmosphere. Keys didn't work properly, was locked out of the hotel for 20 minutes because they lock front door. Awful stay.
