the rooms were extremely dirty. the front desk staff was amazing

I appreciate the fact they always have openings regardless of what time I arrive and reasonable rates. However, they have started to charge a $100 deposit at check-in. On my most recent stay my card was charged $209.51 ($100 deposit plus $109.51 room rate including taxes). I waited a week and the deposit still had not been issued. When I called the property, the front desk clerk informed me I was charged for 2 nights; when I explained I only stayed 1 night and that's exactly what my reservation was made for, she told me to call the manager the next day. I called the next day starting at 9:00 am and was told several times the manager, Lexanne, was not available. I emailed the property owners (the emails listed on the receipt) and I have yet to receive a response and another week has passed. The rates have fluctuated from week to week, which I can understand. But to be dishonest and charge someone for an additional night stay they did not receive, avoiding phone calls, and neglecting to respond to emails is not professional at all.

The Bathroom was clogged, for my entire stay.

Carpet in whole property was filthy. Room was clean except carpet, disgusting. Coffee pods in room were old and stale. Morning coffee airpump in lobby, actually had sludge of old coffee in it. Breakfast time no breakfast. Clerk didn't know why there was no one there to set up breakfast.

This could possibly be the worst hotel I’ve been to. I paid in advance for a king bed RM was told I could only get a double bed RM for me and my wife on her 50th bday. Beds so small wife and I couldn’t sleep in the same bed. No night stand between beds, no toilet paper, room was filthy no breakfast, only 1 elevator worked, 1 towel and face cloth, the entire hotel smelled like marijuana (even the staff), and paid premium price. Emailed the General Manager for a credit on my room for not having king bed room and no reply.

AmericInn cancelled on 5 of our members in their business trip without any notice or consideration for the 6 hours driving they had to make to get there.

First impression last front of house had very poor customer service.. For a hotel which is a service industry the receptionist was very rude.

I request a room with two queens beds and got full beds instead. Request non smoking and the odor of cigarattes was too much in the room and hallways. The offered free breakfast and it was a lie, they dont.

We booked a so called studio suite for 3, 2 adults and my nephew. The room was no more than a double room with a sofa bed in the corner. The room smelt of stale cigarettes and the carpet was didgusting and stuck to my feet and the bed linen looked filthy and unironed. The room bore absolutely no resemblence to the photos on the website. We refused to stay in this room and were given 2 queen size rooms for the original price as a good-will gesture by the very understanding desk clerk. I was then contacred by her to say her manager had informed her only one night of the second room would be free. I put her straight on that issue immediately. The hotel furniture was outdated and gloomy and the bathroom required modernising with rust and grime in the bath tub. The website says breakfast is provided. A cofee machine is not my idea of breakfast. I will never again stay at any Wyndham hotel and would certainly not recommend anyone else do so.. i paid almost 500 dollars for 3 nights. It was not value for money. Word of advice. Pay a little extra and stay in a renowned hotel. With hotel Americinn you underdtand the meaning of the phrase you get what you pay for.
