Apple Tree Inn

The location was the only positive from our stay at Appletree Inn

I had asked for a non-smoking room and they put us in a smoking room. I asked if we could move rooms. I was told they all just booked in the last 10 minutes. 🤨 The beds, especially pillows were uncomfortable. The bathroom had mold and bathtub would not drain. The kitchen counter had burnt marks. Smelled like pot in the stairwell. Then my mother ended up with bite marks from some creature. 🤣

The coffee was good. We didn't get up in time to have the continental breakfast. The hotel was quiet and I like the quaintness of the hotel.

So the internet and the television didn't work we called right away to try to get this fixed. The man at the front desk said he didn't know how to fix TVs and had no idea about the internet. He said to try back in the morning and the other front desk guy might be able to help us. In the morning I called again and the front desk guy came in and he brought five remotes and it didn't work and he says it's a new TV not sure why it's not working. He said his maintenance man came at noon and this was at 9:00 a.m. . I had places to go since I was there for a wedding. And I explained this to the man who was there he said is it okay if the maintenance man comes and takes a look at it to fix it while we're gone. I said absolutely that'd be great. We came back at 2:00 p.m. still no TV still no internet still no maintenance man We left again and came back around 6:30 p.m. again no TV no internet. We left to go to a friend's house to watch TV and hang out with them. I talked to the front desk again and I didn't get a response. I talked to them twice the next morning Sunday the day I was leaving. He asked if the maintenance man ever came I said we still had no internet and we didn't have it all night and we had no TV all night and again this morning. I went back to my room and packed when I checked out I got my deposit. He gave an apology but nothing else. HE ALSO SAID NEXT TIME I RENTED A ROOM I SHOULD NOT ASK FOR THAT ROOM AND ASK FOR A DIFFERENT ONE. IT WAS DISAPPOINTING. He didn't give me a coupon he didn't give me a discount he didn't do anything.

The space of the room

Carpet was gross, fridge wasn’t cleaned out, no kitchenware, not enough towels, Toilet backs up, staff was rude. Evening staff and property manager lied was told I would get refunded my 1st and only got 50% refunded

refrigerator inoperativce, defrosted, rug wet. Tv unplugged and very dificult to set up with no instructions. needed 2 remotes and box and figure out how to program, no tv until last night but unable to switch language on tv. skimpy brfeakfast.

Never going back

It was dirty and tv was broken and there was shit in the bathroom on floor and was dirty
