Lotus Pang Suan Kaew Hotel

We stay in this hotel on average every six weeks, choose the best online deal we can get. Most times we stay in what they call deluxe room, this time had to opt for premium room. This fact was noted by person checking us in, would have been nice to have been offered upgrade. Difference in rooms, inferior beds and bed linen, thin towels and less of,no dressing gowns, no complimentary fruit, condition of bathroom poor. Don't know if anyone is designated task of recognising regular visitors, I suspect not. Will be reviewing our options on next visit.

Good aircon, staff very helpful and quick to help book trips. House keeping excellent but rooms are a bit out dated. Wi-Fi was ok in room. Not the best variety of breakfast for European tourists. Also not alot of restaurants near besides fast food. Pool is huge and very clean.

Have written very complimentary reviews on this hotel in the past, this time things different. We stayed in room 1234, room smelt stale, the air conditioning was set at far too low a temperature (freezing) and could not be adjusted. To be able to get some sleep we had to turn a/c off and then back on when room became too warm. In addition the water in the bathroom was just warm at maximum temperature. Very glad we only booked one night this time.Usually . .

The hotel is old but not bad. Swimming is excellent. Breakfast is not worth the extra bucks. Lots of good options outside the hotel

Hotel is in a great location next to a very busy mall with an amazing food court. Pool is very large and luxurious Hotel feels very Grand when you enter very beautiful large lobby. Elvis sings every night till 10 p.m. in the lobby little noisy if you're trying to go to bed early

Wife and I are regular stayers at this hotel, in comparison with other hotels of this vintage in Chiang Mai,the Lotus Pang delivers consistent value for money. If you can bother to take time to explain any particular needs or requests, the staff will go out of there way to accommodate you.We are particularly impressed by being recognised from previous visits, both at reception and at breakfast. As stated in previous revues,the hotel is ideally situated, clean, comfortable,good pool, great breakfast and caters well for short or long term stays.

Like every hotel in south east Asia, there were mold in the bathroom. The whole hotel showed its age, I would guess early 80s. Pros: - staff were pleasant and eager to please - rooms were large - good view Cons: - dated appearance - safe were at the reception area

Well maintained older property that is conveniently located with various transit options. The rooms are large. Ten minutes to airport.

Lanna style room, may ancient but overall so good. Breakfast is less more menu and simply taste. The elevator less than hotel guest.
