"Hotel in good position to see sights of Chiang Mai"

6.0

Ordered twin beds with follow up Email to hotel, still got king bed at check in. Luckily they were able to change rooms for us. Staff at breakfast very accommodating, as they always are when we stay there. Beds and rooms ok.

"Rude staff, old hotel"

4.0

The hotel staff was less than accommodating, from reception to management lack of warmth and customer service will never be staying here again. Room cleanliness is poor as well

"Disappointing and dated"

4.0

Recently stayed in 5 different hotels across Thailand. Was extremely disappointed by the Lotus Pang Suan Kaew. The rooms were dated and several items were missing or broken, wifi was intermittent to say the least. Most of the reception staff were unhelpful. One morning we were being picked up at 7.30 for an excursion, we rang for room service breakfast (simple eggs from their menu) at 6.15 am; five phone calls later and we never actually received the breakfasts. A kettle was provided in the room, but no coffee/tea facilities provided with it. On the upside the swimming pool was good, and we had massages from two lovely ladies in the hotel spa. We wouldn't stay here again though.

"Excellent"

Great location. Walking distance to Old City, Maya Lifestyle mall and the night market nearby. Connected to a reknowb mall which you get the taste of northern Thai food in the food court.

"Great stay"

10.0

Amazing rooms with nice view. A lot of things to do (pool, sona, steam room, massages) in the hotel and a lot of restaurants and shopping malls outside. Good room service. Daily cleaning.

"Great location and pool, cleanliness falls short"

8.0

Swimming pool and location were great! Wifi was spotty, did not work most of the time. There are bugs crawling around in the room (walls, desks, etc.). Breakfast was not very good despite the pictures looking great. Not enough variety and it gets old by day 2. Would stay again though because of pool and location.

"Old but functional hotel"

6.0

Use this hotel every 6 weeks or so because of it's location, friendly staff and value for money. The hotel needs to be refurbished, lots of small things don't work and the wi fi reception is very iffy, varies from room to room, but rooms are clean, beds comfortable, good breakfast and their is not too much noise. Staff are friendly and helpful and parking is convenient. Was a 4/5 star hotel in it's heyday, but now offers a reasonable 3 star service.

"Hard to find"

6.0

Spent nearly thirty minutes trying to find the hotel after driver dropped me off in the laneway behind the hopsital. Almost impossible to find. Had to walk through the front building to a building at the rear before there was any signage for the hotel. Hotel looks a little tired and in need of some renovation.

"Great swimming pool"

8.0

Don't expect to watch tv because it doesn't work, comfortable room, excellent neighborhood , good swimming pool. Gym you must get a coupon from front desk to use because it doesn't belong to the hotel. Worth staying there .

"4 nights stay"

6.0

Air conditioner temperature is not adjustable. Room is old despite renovation was done in year 2012. Small insects (cockroach alike) found in room at dressing table and toilet. Bell boy, Chai is friendly and helpful in arranging day tour for us. However the tour van is squeezy to fit 4 adults in last row of the seats. Basic toiletries like shower gel, toothpaste, toothbrushes and comb not provided. Complimentary water given in glass bottle makes it heavy for guest to bring out.
