The Mirador

Though I had the pleasure of staying at Luxury hotels such as the Trident Udaipur and the ITC Grand, I felt that the Mirador was the best stay of my sojourn in the beautiful country of India. The rooms were modern and quite close to a boutique hotel. The service was impeccable as they allowed me to have a late check-out 4 hours after my initial check-out time. And, unlike the ITC and Trident, they actually allowed me to bring up my own bag, as I was backpacking it through.

The room was very clean and comfortable, all the staff were extremely accommodating and helped with all business needs. Breakfast was fantastic great selection of both western and Indian food. Hotel transfer was efficient and friendly welcome to Mumbai.

Pros: Quick and efficient check in/out Excellent staff Accommodated our late checkout (2pm) without issues Comfy bed Reasonable breakfaat spread Cons: Price, but apparently is the norm in Mumbai Stains on bathroom floor and water droplets from shower fall all over the bathroom floor as there's no glass door, just shower curtain.

It has been a wonderful experience right from the pickup at the airport. Should say the staff are very generous and courteous.

Very bad service

Had a long wait at the airport for the pick-up. Walked a few times past the Hotel board sign, but could see anyone with Hotel badge. After more than 45 minutes, located the driver. Only a short drive to the Hotel. Had to pay extra for a roll away bed, even though the room was booked and paid for 3 adults? Reception staff not very welcoming, no smiles at all, but looked grumpy.

The Hotel was good, the Room cleaning staff was excellent, Breakfast have good options and quality. But the management staff was little goofy, We have booked this hotel mainly for the Gym and to our surprise they have bundled the gym one morning for letting the space used by some conference and they didn't set-up gym again for next 3 days. Manager and relegated staff was very irresponsible regarding this gym hiding act.

Nice hotel, close to airport, railway station, US embassy and oberoi mall. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I wish the staff were little more friendly.
