The Equus

Place was neat, rug was a little old and dusty. Walls had some coffee, splatter or soda splatter, which wasn’t cleaned up. Place could use a upgraded/updated paint and decor. But I get they trying to go with the antique look. Overall not bad, just need some WD40 a gallon of light grey paint and minor decor upgrades.

I love this hotel. It is just as pictured. Everyone was so friendly. Room was great. Best of all was the bar. There was always someone hanging out. Fantastic boutique hotel.

Good location

very noisy, the window are not closing properly, ants were coming in and you can hear cars coming by like the window was opened. very drab looking, needs a update. Very difficult to get your luggage in room because there's stairs to elevator. They charge you a resort fee when you check in, not much included with this fee, there's a very small pool and you get a free drink. but not worth the fee. There's no place to store luggage if you arrive early or leave late. They just leave luggage in their lobby area which is as large as a small room. So anybody can come and take it.

This hotel is a little tired and is ready for a face lift. The staff was nice, helpful and friendly. The location was good, very close to Waikiki.
