Imperial Hotel Gold Coast

Excellent hotel The staff were 10/10 and were very attentive, the food here is really nice. The rooms are large and clean, the pool is nice and big also good for kids The hotel could do with just a little touch up as it is a little bit run down from age. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Gold Coast

Loved our 4 night stay at The Imperial Hotel, we stayed in a one bedroom suite which was lovely. The lobby is perfect to sip cocktails or coffee, breakfast buffet delicious with gluten free options & barista coffee included. Pool area is amazing with plenty of sun lounges and food & drink service. We also went to the Candlelight Concert while we where there which was fantastic! This would have been a five star review except our room needed block out curtains to stop the bright lights from the street. Beds & pillows very comfy

This hotel never disappoints. From the great staff to the beautiful rooms. We have stayed here before and will do again. Breakfast buffet is amazing.So much to pick from or order something else like an omelette which was cooked perfectly. Love the pool, could spend all day there.

Have stayed here a few times on visits from UK. Even after Versace withdrew its patronage I still classed it as a quality establishment. However having stayed in November 2024 and called in for a drink in March 2025, I can understand why Versace did not want their name linked. There is clearly a lack of investment and there are growing signs of wear and tear. Heading to the toilets from Le Jardin bar, the carpet in the corridor has the most horrendous stain (been there for several years now) and, in the gents toilet itself, the cistern doesn’t work properly, there was no hot water and the hand dryer did not function. For such an establishment it is a really poor show. Outside, the footpaths from the main road had not been swept for some time.

It was very convenient/close proximity to the celebration venue we were all at.

I loved the pool area beside the restaurant. its huge. the staff were lovely... I can only fault corridors that lead to rooms felt like a maze

Very good. Overall building was tired looking and needed maitenance. Pool area was a standout.

I'm writing this while still staying here and planning our next visit. We have travelled for many years; stayed in hundres of hotels, we absolutely love the Imperial. The service is first class and very professional. The breakfast buffet is immaculate and the food delicious along with a very attentive waitstaff. The rooms are a little tired and no doubt not up to the standard of newer hotels..but it does add to the charm and the bed is very comfortable. Can't wait to return

I love this hotel so much. We Stayed there recently and have stayed many times before. It’s always amazing. The staff, facilities - everything. The guy that checked us in was amazing. I forgot to get his name. 😢 My favourite hotel on the Gold Coast. If you get the opportunity, stay for a luxurious break. Love it.

Terrible service, cold coffee, rude staff that didn't take down correct orders, gym is old and items are broken. Good pool and doormen are nice. Cocktails are good
