Holiday Inn Express Garden City East by IHG

Check out was at 11. We got a knock on the door at 10:30 telling us it was time to check out.

The drywall on 3 walls around shower had tons of black mold on them. The towels were rough and small. The bath towels aren’t big enough to wrap around your body and they are rough. There are no ice machines on the floors, you must go to front desk and the clerk fills your ice bucket. Go elsewhere folks, for the mold alone.

The pool had technical problems,hot tub same, couldn't swing or relax in the hot tub, this is not the first time with them their convenience same inco

The room was dirty had mold in bathroom and there was blood on the wall in the bathroom

There was a thick layer of dust on many items; such as the hair dryer, all the outlets, the mirrors, and lamps, and curtains. The bathroom smelled of mildew and had a large water stain on the ceiling as well as peeling wallpaper, the shower curtain was stained and smelly. The hair and ottoman were stained as well. I would have stayed somewhere else whoever there were no other hotels available for the dates I needed. There are no ice machines in the hotel or coffee makers in the rooms, the hair dryer did not work. Also even if you ask for housekeeping to not come into your room they still come in and do an inventory to make sure a certain list of items on the back of the door have not been stolen.

The first room at blood in the bathroom, the second room carpet and chair was stained and filthy. The pool was under 70 so cold you couldn’t get in it. Hot tub was not working. The parking lot was full off potholes

My room was clean and comfortable.

The room smelled like mold. Very uncomfortable.

Lamp missing a bulb. Halls had crumbling sheet rock on the floor. There were nails in the parking lot due to roofing construction. The toilet malfunctioned.

Beds were hard as a rock, pillows were terrible
