Very homely feel, breakfast was fantastic.

Location was excellent and The Manager was very pleasant and helpful.

Heating went off just after we arrived and only came back on when we left the next day - it was one of the coldest nights of the year and unfortuantely no additional blankets were available in the room either. The walk-in-shower in our en suite flooded the bathroom floor when I stepped into the shower tray which was due to the water not draining quick enough. Both issues were reported to the Manager who did provide an additional plug in heater and aplogised for both the shower and the heating which was caused by a frozen pipe apparently. Breakfast room was subsequently cold in the morning although a fan heater was supplied and unfortunately there was only enough orange juice for two people.

Stayed in a in a tiny single room with a single bed that was too short for me

Amazing and comfy old period building, very cozy and warm, lovely styled rooms. Very tasty breakfast and professional welcoming staff.
