Altstadt Hotel Krone Luzern

Best location -The property is very central to shopping, dining and walkable to the main attractions and railway station. You just need to stay here to experience Lucerne especially if you only have 2 days there like us. We were able to leave our luggage before check-in time and after check-out which is a big plus for us. We stayed on the 4th floor facing the back of the hotel and it was quite at night. I recommend this hotel for its location for a short stay.

We only stayed one night, and only issue is with no air conditioning and the fans they have to make it comfortable are very poor. My only suggestion is to upgrade fans to oscillating pedestal fans, and maybe provide an extension cord as the outlets are limited.

Great location. Plenty of restaurants and things do within walking distance. Train station 7 min walk away.

Perfect location to see the sites of beautiful Lucerne.

I liked my room, and the staff was very courteous. I would recommend it, and if I were in Lucerne, I would stay there again.

Property centrally located. Accessible on foot. Hotel does not have air conditioning. When you open the window it’s very noisy. It’s a little difficult to stay during the hot weather season.

The hotel is very well located. In a near but not in the middle of the pedestrian traffic. Rooms are clean and neat. Not very modern but I don’t care. Attention at the front guest is good as well as the restaurant for breakfast. Only serve breakfast. The only negative is the WiFi. It’s terrible. If WiFi is important to you this is not a good option. The rest is great at at the least good.

A lovely hotel in the old town of splendid architecture. The room catered for a comfortable stay. The breakfast is scrumptious and free coffee in room was an added bonus.
