Altstadt Hotel Krone Luzern

The location was excellent! Walkable to many shops and restaurants and the lake. Take a swim. It’s beautiful. If you’re bringing a car, getting to the hotel is really tricky and you have to drive on what you think are pedestrian only streets!! Once you get to the hotel, staff parks your car and returns it to you when you want to leave.👍

The property is in a lovely setting in the old part of Lucerne.

Close to the bridge of old town. Room is nice. Bathroom is ok. No A/C but they have 2 fans.

I love this hotel and the cozy enviroment. Totally recommend it!

Good location and good view

Nice hotel in the downtown area. No A/C, but they do provide fans. Nonetheless, my partner struggled to sleep at night, as it was very hot during our stay.

Very close to everything, roughly a 10 or so minute walk from main train station. Had the top floor so had a good sized balcony however lift was only to the 4th floor. The young man at the reception was extremely nice, welcomed me straight away and every time I left the hotel or came back he acknowledged me. Reasons for the low score was - the room was extremely hot, felt like I was in a sauna 24/7, there was no air con just 2 little fans that barely did anything. The shower head was broken - I had the shower head on the side going diagonal from the wall meaning I was literally showering pressed against the wall and the body,hand and shampoo wash. When I arrived I checked the bed like I always do, and there was multiple bugs underneath the pillows. The mini fridge was jammed packed with the hotels products - I paid for the hotel so I should be able to freely use the fridge. The pillows on the bed was also nonexistent- felt like I had no support, like I had no pillow on the bed.

There is no air-conditioning and that was rough considering how hot Europe is now. But they did supply fans.

Fantastic location!

The location is great. Very clean! There is no air conditioning. There is a laundry service- but it is not self service.
