Altstadt Hotel Krone Luzern

Great location and we appreciated the prompt and helpful service at the front desk.

The gentleman who was at the front desk daily during our stay was the BEST

The hotel is in a great location for touring Lucerne and the old town. Three of the four front desk staff were amazing to deal with but one was somewhat crusty and not very friendly. The room was quite dark…we needed to use our phone flashlight to see the coffee maker. Bathroom shower had mold along the edges. The room definitely needed a refresh of paint etc. The hallways made us feel like we were staying in a hostel or a college dorm. Better colours and a few paintings would help make it more inviting.

This property was a great place for our visit to Lacerne. All the historic sites and transportation was within walking distance along with the great restaurants

Great hotel in the perfect location in the old city. We stayed as a family of four. Hotel staff are warm and helpful. So many good restaurants within walking distance as well as sites and attractions. Rooms clean and quiet. Good breakfast served til midday!

Got a really huge room and high ceilling. Love the room and the view outside

Very small but clean room. Very professional and helpful staff. Good location in Old Town, in the middle of shopping and dining area.

The location from the train station was easily walkable as was the Chapel Bridge and Jesuit church. There was an abundance if restaurants nearby. The hotel beds were very comfortable and the room was pretty spacious.

Central location so very noisy. There does not seem to be air con so can get hot but if you leave window open it is very noisy. One night they seemed to be servicing the lift at around 5.30am in the morning which sounded like loud crashes. Would not stay here unless you can sleep through loud noises.
