Altstadt Hotel Krone Luzern

This hotel was in a great location. Beauty city.

Nice large clean modern room. Staff was very helpful, especially prior to our stay, with answering questions. They made some great restaurant suggestions and helped with information to day trip to Mt Pilatus. Our beautiful room had 2 windows that opened up to the plaza and fountain below, but was surprisingly noisy (loud people outside at night). It’s in a great location, but not in a main foot traffic area. I would definitely stay there again!

fantastic location 12 min walking from the train station, comfortable bedding, is clean. they offer luggage storage before check-in but it is not secured by anything so a little sketchy. the bathroom faucet in my room was leaky, which was annoying. would stay again though, price was fine.

An excellent boutique hotel in central old Lucerne. Quiet and clean rooms. No parking, but for eur30/night they offered valet service. Helpful staff, front desk was manned from something like 7am to 10pm. Plenty of breakfast options around hotel if you do not get the breakfast buffet. Walking distance to Lucerne's most important sights. Hotel is next door to Coop City which is a supermarket and department store, which came in very handy.

Very nice and professionally run hotel. Staff very efficient. Had a very good experience staying. Would recommend to travellers, especially couples. Centrally located. Also, the eateries around the hotel are quite good, would recommend meals at these outlets too.

Location is excellent. In the middle of everything.
